Louise Jewers
Louise qualified in 1980 and established the clinic in 1998, having worked within the NHS, private sector and at Rosslyn Park Rugby Club. While working for the NHS she was responsible for day to day running of a physio outpatient department. She has been a clinical mentor for the MACP. At London 2012 Olympics, she enjoyed volunteering as a physio in the Athletes Village, Medical centre. She is also a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP).
Her special interests include post-operative rehabilitation and the treatment of shoulders, knees, tendinopathies, soft tissue injuries & spinal pain. Over her many years of work, she has gained experience in the treatment of many conditions and injuries. She lists exercise, manual therapy and dry needling among her treatment tools. Listening to her client’s story and facilitating self-help strategies to support long lasting results are central to her approach. Louise also believes you are never too old to exercise, or to return to a more active lifestyle if you take sensible measures and advice. Her treatment programmes when appropriate make use of the Hogarth’s extensive gym facilities.
Louise’s pitch side work in rugby was invaluable in honing her diagnostic skills. To maintain her evidence-based practice she is constantly updating her skills and treatments. Her passion for physiotherapy and supporting people back to good health and fitness is why she is still in practice.
Louise has two grown up sons and spent many years fixing their rugby and cricket injuries and supporting from the sidelines! Having participated in many sports earlier in her career, with more time available in recent years, she has resumed running, started walking 5k to work and exercise classes. She also loves her garden.
Caroline Wright
Caroline Wright qualified in London in 1988. She has been working in private practice for 20 years in West London, having previously worked in the NHS at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and in South Africa.
Her areas of special interest are spinal problems, headaches, jaw pain, persistent or chronic pain and Women’s health. She is also experienced in treating a wide range of shoulder and lower limb conditions.
Her empathic and evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment allows her to treat her patients holistically, empowering them to take back control of their pain or weakness so they achieve positive long-term improvements. She uses a combination of manual therapy, exercises, advice and is trained in CBT for pain to help patients reach their goals. Caroline has extended her knowledge and skill in the treatment of pelvic pain, ante and postnatal conditions including incontinence and Diastasis Recti (Abdominal separation after childbirth).
Caroline enjoys walking her dog, Yoga and cycles to work. She loves skiing and has 3 children.
"Many thanks for your help with my back. Your advice was 100% good. I was sent off for x-rays - crush fractures were the problem. Many thanks for all your help in setting me off in the right direction."

‘’You were absolutely right about my ankle kicking out. After seeing you Friday, I rested Saturday and did the exercises that you gave me. I ran 11.7 k on Sunday, thinking the whole time about that push off and had no problems. There was a niggle but no pain. Last night I did 7 k and other interval sprints and had no issues. I will keep up the exercises.’’ Thank you AGAIN! You were right AGAIN!

‘’I was delighted and relieved I was able to organize physio sessions remotely with Louise (during Covid). With her expertise and many years of experience in post-op rehabilitation, in our remote/video sessions Louise is able to pinpoint even the smallest of deviations from desired movements in those exercises she has recommended. Her quiet calm, capable mannerand the clear guidance she offers in simple and straightforward language, make it easy for me to understand what she is asking of me and my leg! Louise’s follow up email containing links to an exercise plan and video clips for assigned exercises represents invaluable support in between our remote sessions.’’

‘’Caroline was brilliant. Thank you so much for suggesting I saw her. There isn’t anything to worry about-nothing that a few exercises won’t put right and I am seeing her again.’’
